When children have a difficult time attending, participating, and learning in school, an observation in this setting may be needed. In coordination with your child's teacher, I will quietly observe your child in the classroom in a snapshot of time (usually 45-60 minutes). The observation typically brings to light underlying reasons for a child's challenges in the school environment. 

 

Recommendations and a minute-by-minute snapshot of your child's activity during the observation time will be provided for you to share with your child's teacher on how to help your child be more successful in attending, listening, participating, following directions, and overall learning in school and any accommodations to support your child's overall academic success.
