Mary-Kay has experience working with children birth to 21 years old. All children are unique despite similar diagnoses or presentations and are all seen as individuals and helped according to their own specific strengths and challenges. Children helped have challenges in sensory processing, fine, gross, oral motor/sensory, feeding, behavior, and/or visual motor/perception. Some children present with no specific diagnosis, but are struggling in school or with peer interaction. Some children have difficulty processing sensory input or modulating their own internal body rhythm. Mary-Kay has experience helping children with these presentations and other varied diagnoses such as prematurity, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Downs Syndrome, Kabuki Syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Delay, Dyslexia, Pierre Robin Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Aicardi Syndrome, Hemiplegia, in utero strokes, Hypotonia/Hypertonia, Dyspraxia, Feeding Difficulties, and others.
